A Good Day
“A Good Day” is a communication tool for families with smal children. The aim is to gather the family through a tool that planes family members activities. Necessary planing and including children in a fun way, with a learning outcome.

More and more families are divided and getting disrupted because of digital technology. A consequence of this is family members are spending less time together. “A Good Day” is a way to gather the family through a tool that visualises family members activities. Necessary planing and including children in a fun way, with a learning outcome.
The communication board consist of a circular whiteboard with a clock, activities magnets, stickers and markers.
For pre language children this is a good way to express activities, releate to time, plan time and to get a understanding of the families activities. This is a nice way to gather the family, and at the same time have fun and get a learning outcome.
Learning outcome !
Each family member has its own side of the “cube”. The cube consist of several magnets showing each members weekly activities.
The tool kit is provided with several symbol stickers that you can put on your magnets. These can be changed and you can make your own !
For each time the families is gathered and plan the next days, one at a time put the activity magnets on their circle on the board, showing what time that activity is about to happen. Small children that doesn’t know the clock or how to read, will easily see that when the clock “strikes” one symbol, then its time for the activity.
This is a fun way to plan, learn the clock, get a sense om time and to have good discussions. The board also lets you draw and write with the washable whiteboard pen, included in the tool kit.
